Supporting Hamilton Island Race Week 2023

We had the privilege of contributing to the resounding success of this year’s Hamilton Island Race Week, a prestigious six-day sailing event that brought together 180 yachts and approximately 2,000 sailors from Australia, New Zealand, and New Caledonia. As proud major sponsors, the AVPartners team went above and beyond mere audio-visual support. Our commitment was to elevate the atmosphere and enhance the overall experience through venue styling as well. Here, we present some highlights from this event:

Opening Cocktail Party

The festivities began with a cocktail party at qualia Resort. Our team decorated the venue with ropes and floral hangings designed by Matt Bisaro, embodying the oceanic culture of Race Week. The maritime-themed decor set the stage for the week ahead and included a special appearance by Amy Shark.

Wild Oats Wines Ladies Lunch

The Ladies Lunch was held at the Beachfront Pavilion on Catseye Beach, with a stunning oceanfront backdrop. The venue featured elegant wooden accents, complemented by a display of vibrant florals by Matt Bisaro. Amy Shark graced the occasion as a special guest once more.

Guillaume Brahimi Beachfront Dinner at qualia Resort

Dining under the stars at qualia’s Pebble Beach made for a stunning setting. In collaboration with renowned French chef Guillaume Brahimi, we curated a visual feast featuring French linens, white bentwood chairs, and elegant lamps. Guests enjoyed their meals while fire pits added a warm glow. A live three-piece band, led by Miss Renee Simone and accompanied by bongos, created a nice ambience for the evening.

Paspaley Lunch

The Paspaley Lunch took place on the stunning Pebble Beach, offering a picturesque setting. With natural wooden accents and the talent of Matt Bisaro incorporating native plants, we paid homage to the local landscape while adding a maritime touch. A DJ, percussionist and saxophonist provided a lively musical backdrop right on the beach, enticing guests to join in and dance on the sand.
