AVPartners has equipped the Hamilton Island Conference Centre with state of the art HD resolution projection technology, providing conference guests with brighter, crisper projection.

Thanks to AVPartners, Hamilton Island Conference Centre is now the proud owner of two 8.5KHD projectors. The projection technology allows for better visibility from a distance and ensures that a presentation on the big screen looks as close as possible to the original. Lines are clearer, colours are brighter and the presenter’s message is delivered to a much higher standard.

HD projector technology is at the forefront of conferencing technology and is only available in a handful of conference venues outside of the major cities. Hamilton Island Convention Centre is the only off coast island in Australia to provide this premium conferencing service.

AVPartners have also installed digital signal cables at the Hamilton Island Conference Centre with a Full-HD Vision Mixer.

The Hamilton Island Conference Centre is the largest conference venue on Hamilton Island with space to accommodate up to 1,000 delegates for conferences, product launches, exhibitions and incentives.

AVPartners has enjoyed a partnership with Hamilton Island for 6 years. AVPartners provides audiovisual support for conferences at the location and professional technical assistance for delegates.

Ryan loves the excitement of the events industry and thrives on creating lasting impressions for both clients and their guests. One memorable show that will be hard to beat was the unveiling of Qatar Airlines recently at Crown Perth. Ryan had to ‘follow spot’ Jessica Mauboy and Stan Walker as they entertained the crowd but just being part of the show was a thrilling experience!

Whilst Ryan is occasionally seconded to various venues around Perth, his home away from home is The Esplanade Hotel Fremantle – by Rydges. He thoroughly enjoys the Fremantle vibe, best known for its ‘Cappuccino Strip’, fabulous cafes and markets and has made many friends along the way. Ryan’s role at the hotel is Operations Co-ordinator and whilst this is a busy position, he wouldn’t want it any other way.

Growing up in the southern suburbs of Perth, Ryan was always gathering his friends together and spending time at the park or playing video games. Following high school, he studied at Perth’s Central Tafe and graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Screen (Post Production). Now many years later, he enjoys making short comedy videos for families and friends or just taking his camera out and capturing good times.

Ryan is soaking in all he has learnt during his time at AVPartners and is looking forward to creating many more exciting events over the coming years.

Michael is a perfectionist and is intrigued by the delicate balance between complete creativity and the need for absolute precision. He admits that ‘he gets a weird sort-of kick out of lining a projector and screen up perfectly – it’s a bit of an OCD buzz type of feeling.’

So it is little wonder that Michael has ended up working at AVPartners. After spending some time as an Associate at the Sofitel Brisbane office, he was appointed as Partner at the Sofitel Gold Coast property. Michael loves his role, the fantastic team environment and is very appreciative of the support he receives from his colleagues and regional partners.

Michael is also very passionate about music, in fact he recently released two electro dance tracks that hit the ARIA top 50 club songs! He majored in music during high school and later went on to study at the Adelaide University where he completed a Certificate in Music Technology.

Michael’s relocation to the Gold Coast from Adelaide was via Darwin where he met his current partner. They moved to Queensland in 2012 and he couldn’t be happier. He enjoys relaxing and spending time at the beach, when he’s not playing one of his many guitars. He also doesn’t mind the odd shopping trip if it means he can add to his Adidas sneaker collection… 9 pairs and counting!

The highlight of Michael’s career with AVPartners to date would have to be the Malouf pharmacy awards evening held at the Sofitel Brisbane property in early 2012. It was his first large show with AVPartners and one he will never forget.
