Introduction:

For 14 years, AVPartners has been proud to partner with Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort as its in-house technology and commercial partner.

Over this time, together we have delivered more than 7,000 events, from intimate social gatherings and weddings through to gala dinners, awards nights, and large-scale corporate and incentive programs. The venue has played host to an incredible breadth of experiences.

More Than Event Delivery

This partnership has always been about more than event delivery.
Working closely with the resort team, AVPartners contributed to the ongoing evolution of the venue’s event offering, including supporting the design and development of the Sunshine Coast Convention Centre.

Technology & Infrastructure

As part of this long-term partnership, AVPartners delivered and maintained a comprehensive, integrated technology solution across the venue.

This included the installation and ongoing support of:

A 24-metre LED screen within the Sunshine Coast Convention Centre
Distributed audio systems across event spaces
Intelligent lighting systems designed for flexibility and impact
Venue-wide internet infrastructure, supporting both event delivery and guest connectivity
Scalable audiovisual systems to support events of all sizes

These technology investments ensured the venue could consistently deliver high-quality, seamless event experiences, while adapting to the evolving needs of clients and event formats.

Community Impact

Beyond the events themselves, we are especially proud of the role the partnership has played in supporting the local community.

From initiatives such as the Accor Race to Survive to the Wish List Carnival, these moments have reinforced the importance of connection, contribution, and purpose.
