AVPartners® Celebrates One Year as The Star Brisbane’s Audiovisual Partner
August 2025 marked an exciting milestone as AVPartners celebrated 12 months as the in-house audiovisual partner at The Star Brisbane. Since the venue’s grand opening in August 2024, our team has been proud to deliver cutting-edge event experiences that match the innovation and elegance of this world-class destination.
A year of unforgettable events
Nestled on the Brisbane River, The Star Brisbane has quickly become a premier destination for corporate gatherings, gala dinners, award nights, and milestone celebrations. Over the past year, AVPartners has supported more than 500events, ranging from intimate boardroom meetings to spectacular large-scale galas in the 3,500sqm Event Centre.
Some standout highlights from the first 12 months include:
- Hosting the successful Ronald McDonald House Charity events in 2024 and 2025
- Delivering the Australian Tourism Exchange Welcome Reception with more than 2000 delegates
- Brisbane’s best vantage point for Riverfire 2024
These events have showcased the versatility of The Star Brisbane’s 2,000sqm pillarless ballroom, which can host up to 1,440 guests in banquet style or be reconfigured into five distinct spaces. Combined with natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows and the latest AV infrastructure, the venue has set a new benchmark for Brisbane events.
